Year 4: T4 - Sustainability and Erosion

Resources for year 4 subjects

What Is Sustainability

What Is Sustainability?

From the Cambridge Dictionary: sustainability (noun)  1) the quality of being able to continue over a period of time, or 2) the quality of causing little or no damage to the environment and therefore able to continue for a long time.

When we talk of living sustainably, we may look at a wide range of topics, including food production, alternative energies, environmental needs, housing and transportation. It is never too early to discuss these issues with children. In fact, our future may depend on it!
