The Great Gatsby is novel by F. Scott Fitzgerald, published in 1925. The narrator, Nick Carraway, is a young Princeton man who works as a bond broker in Manhattan. His neighbour on Long Island, is Jay Gatsby, a self-made millionaire.  Nick observes his life in the 1920s as he pursues the great American dream.
